FG Launches ₦50 Million Grant For Student Startups

THE Federal Government has opened applications for the Student Venture Capital Grant (S-VCG), offering up to ₦50 million in equity-free funding for student-led startups. Targeting full-time undergraduates in 300-level and above, the scheme supports innovations in STEMM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, and Medical Sciences).
Beyond funding, successful applicants will receive mentorship, incubation, and business development support, as well as a one-year Google Gemini Pro license to enhance technical and entrepreneurial skills.
Implemented with the Bank of Industry, the programme aims to turn student projects into commercially viable ventures. Applicants can apply via https://svcq.education.gov.ng.
