Ex House Of Reps Member Beats Hubby Beyond Recognition
· Once Slapped Her Driver While On The Wheels, Leading To Fatal Crash
A former House of Reps member, who represented Jechira Federal Constituency of Benue State, between 2003 and 2007, Hon. Sharon Aondona Dabo, is alleged to have beaten her husband, Mr. David Fiase Aondona to a pulp, leaving him with grievous bodily injuries.
The case of domestic violence at the Aondonas’ home occurred few days after the husband, made a post on Facebook, alleging threat to life, while asking the public to hold his wife responsible should anything grave happen to him. He accused his wife of trying to kill him. A source close to the family, who pleaded anonymity, in a Messenger chat, said the politician was strong enough to beat her husband to stupor, almost on a daily basis. According to the source, “the two have been in a toxic relationship since they got married in June 2017 and efforts were being made by the husband to divorce the lady before the latest incident that almost cost his life. The reason the man was still in the marriage is because it was a court marriage and the divorce process usually takes longer than our customary traditional marriage.
“Hon. Sharon Aondona Dabo, who often calls her husband a gold digger, is highly temperamental and seemingly arrogant. She had used her thugs to force the husband on his knees several times. She is also very strong physically. She could beat hell out of her husband who, at home, appears more like a slave or a house help.”
The source added that the former Rep from Vandeikya Local Government Area of Benue State once slapped her driver while on the steering, leading to a fatal crash. Subsequently, she was on neck bracelets for almost one year as a result of the accident.” On another occasion, the source said she broke her security guards’ head with the heel of her shoes and threatened to deal with the man if he ever told anyone about it.
