DOPF Congratulates Dr. Paul Bebenimibo On His Appointment As NMU Registrar
THE Delta Online Publishers Forum (DOPF) has extended warm congratulations to Dr. Paul Bebenimibo on his recent appointment as the new Registrar of the Nigeria Maritime University (NMU), Okerenkoko.
In a congratulatory message signed by the Chairman, Mr. Emmanuel Enebeli and Secretary, Shedrack Onitsha, the Forum described Dr. Bebenimibo’s appointment as “well-deserved” and a clear recognition of his track record of excellence in both academic and administrative leadership.
Dr. Bebenimibo, who until his appointment was the Head of the Department of Broadcasting, Journalism and Media Studies at Delta State University, Abraka, also served in a notable capacity at the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC). DOPF noted that his leadership and progressive vision in these roles made him an outstanding candidate for the new position.
The appointment was officially confirmed during the 21st Governing Council meeting of NMU, following a rigorous and transparent selection process. According to DOPF, this further underscores the university’s confidence in Dr. Bebenimibo’s capabilities to steer the institution’s administrative affairs.

We are confident that your wealth of experience, dedication, and integrity will serve as a driving force for growth and innovation at NMU,” the Forum stated and expressed optimism that under Dr. Bebenimibo’s stewardship, NMU would experience a new era of transformation and increased global recognition.
