SPEAKER of the Delta State House of Assembly, Dennis Guwor, has commended Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for approving and flagging off the reconstruction of the Warri–Sapele–Benin Dual Carriageway, describing it as a transformative step for the state’s infrastructure and economy.
In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Nkem Nwaeke, Guwor said the long-neglected road had been a nightmare for motorists and that its reconstruction would boost trade, mobility, and security across the region.
He also praised the governor’s collaboration with the federal government and highlighted other key infrastructure projects in Warri and Effurun, including new flyovers.
Guwor urged contractors to deliver quality work on schedule and assured that the House of Assembly would provide legislative support and oversight to ensure the projects’ success.
