Delta Police Arrest Key Suspect In Murder Of Retired Judge

THE Delta State Police Command has arrested the prime suspect in the killing of retired Justice Ifeoma Okogwu, who was murdered in her Asaba residence on 27 November.
Police spokesperson SP Bright Edafe said the suspect, 25-year-old Godwin Mngumi — the judge’s former security guard — was tracked and arrested on Saturday in Anambra State. Officers also recovered the late judge’s phone from him.
According to Edafe, Mngumi confessed to committing the crime alongside two accomplices, one of whom has been arrested, while the third remains at large. A manhunt for the fleeing suspect is ongoing.
The police assured the public that efforts are being intensified to bring all perpetrators to justice.
