Benue Ambush: Corpses Of 8 Missing Policemen Found, Death Toll Hits 11

THE bodies of eight policemen earlier declared missing after an ambush in Benue have been recovered, raising the death toll to 11 security operatives.

The attack occurred Friday at Agu Centre, near the Katsina-Ala/Ukum border, when gunmen ambushed a joint team of police, the Benue State Civil Protection Guard (BSCPG), and the Special Intervention Squad.

Officials confirmed that 10 policemen and one BSCPG operative were killed, while the atmosphere in the area remains tense as security forces move to contain the situation.
