Asagba of Asaba Inspects Drug Rehabilitation Centre Donated By Obi Nduka Elunor
YESTERDAY 20 August, Asagba Azinge with some Palace Chiefs visited the facility donated by Obi Nduka Elunor as the proposed Drug Addicts Rehabilitation Centre to care for drug addicts and victims.
Nna Agu said his motive is to inspect and explore options for use.
He then directed the Welfare and Endowment Fund Committee to examine and determine the equipment that is required to run the facility.
HRM Asagba Azinge also noted that haven taken this step, in no distant time experts will be employed to care for the victim’s wellbeing.
He concluded with appreciation to Obi Nduka Elunor and other people who have donated the facility originally in use to them as Ogwa but kind heartedly surrendered it to Asaba people.
Nna Agu then urged well meaning Asaba indigenes and non-indigenes to make meaningful contributions as required in order to support the course of trying to combat drug addiction in Asaba.
