All On Invests $250,000 To Expand ICE Solar’s Clean Energy Access For SMEs
By NINI NDUONOFIT-AKOH
ALL On, an impact investment company focused on expanding energy access in Nigeria, has committed a follow-on investment of $250,000 in ICE Solar Commercial Power Limited. This marks a continuation of All On’s support since its initial 2021 investment.
The funding will help ICE Solar scale its intelligent solar and battery solutions, enabling thousands of SMEs to shift from costly petrol generators to clean, reliable energy. The initiative targets Nigeria’s SME sector, which constitutes nearly 97% of businesses, provides 88% of employment, and contributes 46% of GDP, yet faces persistent power challenges.
Caroline Eboumbou, CEO of All On, highlighted that the investment supports SMEs, which are crucial to Nigeria’s economic growth, while promoting job creation and the energy transition. ICE Solar CEO Emmanuel Ekwueme said the capital would help over 2,000 SMEs reduce energy costs and move toward a low-carbon future.
This partnership reinforces All On’s mission to promote sustainable energy solutions, economic inclusion, and the broader renewable energy ecosystem in Nigeria.
