Alihagu Holds Conference, As Kennedy Bienose Reviews Book
Alihagu community in Agbor has held her 2023 conference. The well attended annual conference was held on Sunday, December 31 at Alihagu.
During the conference, a book on Alihagu history titled “Alihagu: History and Evolution Of A Community”, was unveiled. The production of the book which focused on the history and evolution of Alihagu was sponsored by an indigene of the community, Mr. Chukwudi Ngbeken. The book was reviewed by Pastor Kennedy Bienose who called on Alihagu people to ensure they grab copies for posterity.
Among those present were the elders and women of the community, including youths. The chairman of the conference, Mr. Monday Dibie, in his speech, commended all concerned sons and daughters of Alihagu who have been working for the advancement of their community. He urged them to “keep on with their good works, embrace education which indeed is the bedrock of success. He urged his people to, irrespective of political affiliation, love one another, speak with one voice and avoid disunity.
The conference was anchored by two illustrious sons of the community, Mr. Ndidi Felix Effan and Pastor Kennedy Bienose. It was an eventful one as it offered a huge opportunity for members of the community to relate and discuss together on the way forward for their community.
A popular Agbor based highlife musician, ASO and cultural dancers from the community thrilled the audience. Also, awards were given to illustrious and deserving sons of the community.
