AIR Peace Ltd. has announced the arrival of its second Embraer 190 aircraft, further strengthening its fleet and boosting capacity for domestic and regional routes.
The 96-seater jet, registered 5N-CER, touched down at Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, at 2:42 p.m. on Friday, according to a statement by the airline’s spokesperson, Efe Osifo-Whiskey.
Osifo-Whiskey noted that more Embraer aircraft would be delivered in the coming year, describing the expansion as a deliberate step to make air travel more accessible and efficient.
“The Embraer 190 suits domestic and regional operations, ensuring reliable services while enhancing efficiency and passenger experience,” he said.
The airline said the addition reinforces its commitment to fleet modernization, new domestic routes, expanded international services, and stronger regional presence.
Air Peace received its first Embraer 190 in June, underscoring its long-term strategy of investing in modern, right-sized aircraft to meet Nigeria’s aviation demands.
