GOVERNOR Dauda Lawal has said Africa needs genuine partnerships, not charity, built on mutual respect, fairness, and shared values.
Speaking at the Canada-Africa Trade and Investment Expo 2025 in Toronto, Lawal stressed that Africa’s growth depends on collaboration at the sub-national level, where trade, investment, and development are most visible.
He highlighted Zamfara’s vast agricultural potential and solid mineral resources, noting efforts to promote responsible mining and create a transparent, investor-friendly climate.
Lawal urged Canadian partners to invest beyond African capitals, focusing on farms, schools, and industries where real change occurs.
