THE Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) has pledged significant infrastructural improvements in the health sector to match ongoing road development efforts.
Dr. Adedolapo Fasawe, Mandate Secretary for Health Services and Environment, made the promise on Tuesday in Abuja at the 2025 Physicians Week of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), FCT chapter.
Fasawe said the administration, under Minister Nyesom Wike, is prioritising technology-driven reforms in health policy and data management. She urged doctors to uphold ethical standards, ensure confidentiality, and embrace collaboration across professions.
NMA-FCT Chairman, Dr. Ayogu Emeka, called on the FCTA to address doctors’ welfare concerns and sustain its partnership with the association.
The event, themed “Healthcare as a Value Chain: Building Efficiency from Policy to Patient”, also featured discussions on artificial intelligence and ethics in modern healthcare.
