SWAN Seeks Media Trust Partnership Ahead Of 60th Anniversary Celebration

AS part of activities marking its 60th anniversary, the National Executive Council and Local Organizing Committee (LOC) of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) paid a courtesy visit to Media Trust Headquarters, publishers of Daily Trust, on Monday in Abuja.

Led by SWAN Secretary-General, Ambassador Ikenna Okonkwo, the delegation commended Media Trust for its long-standing support of sports journalism and sought partnership for the upcoming SWAN @ 60 celebration.

Okonkwo described the collaboration as vital to promoting sports development and amplifying journalists’ contributions to national progress.

Responding, Media Trust’s General Editor, Stella Iyaji, congratulated SWAN on the milestone and pledged full media support and coverage across the organization’s platforms — print, radio, TV, and online.

The visit forms part of SWAN’s engagement drive to rally institutional and media partners for the nationwide anniversary event.
