Israeli Embassy Extends Support To Orphans In Abuja

THE Israeli Embassy in Nigeria has pledged stronger support for the wellbeing of orphans across the country.
Deputy Chief of Mission, Inbar Garden, made the commitment during a visit to the Hope for Survival Orphanage in Gishiri, Abuja, where the embassy donated food items and hosted a buffet for the children.
“We just want to ensure the orphans have a better future and are not taken for granted. Dream big and go after your goals,” Garden told the children.
Orphanage proprietress Ruth Ibrahim expressed gratitude for the gesture, noting that poor access to healthcare, inadequate funds, and lack of a perimeter fence remain major challenges.
The orphanage houses 67 children, with two university graduates and eight currently preparing for WAEC.
She also thanked FCT Minister Nyesom Wike for recent road repairs, which had previously hindered access to the home.
