THE Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in the FCT says it resolved 38 disputes between January and August 2025 through its Peace and Conflict Resolution (PCR) unit.
FCT Commandant Olusola Odumosu disclosed this during a peace walk in Abuja to mark the International Day of Peace, themed “Act Now for a Peaceful World.”
He said the cases settled included land disputes, family conflicts, contract breaches, and farmer-herder clashes. Odumosu urged citizens to embrace Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), stressing that peace requires collective effort from government, communities, and individuals.
