Turn Record FAAC Funds Into Grassroots Impact, TMF Urges LGs

THE Tinubu Media Force (TMF) has urged local governments to use the record ₦2.225 trillion August FAAC allocation to deliver visible impact at the grassroots.

TMF National Coordinator, Oluwagbenga Abiola, praised President Bola Tinubu’s reforms for boosting revenue but stressed that councils must translate the funds into food hubs, storage facilities, CNG transport, and youth enterprise initiatives.

He said such investments would cut food costs, stabilise markets, reduce transport expenses, and empower young entrepreneurs. Abiola urged LGs to align with Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, noting that the historic allocation is a chance to directly ease Nigerians’ cost of living.
