NECO 2025 Results Released, Portal Opens

THE National Examinations Council (NECO) has released the 2025 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE Internal) results, with over 1.3 million candidates participating nationwide.
In a statement issued today Wednesday 17 September, NECO announced that candidates can now access their results via the official result portal. The council stressed the importance of using only authorised platforms and valid result-checking tokens to avoid invalid or fake entries.
To check their results, candidates are required to:

Visit the NECO portal at https://results.neco.gov.ng.

Select the examination year (2025) and exam type (SSCE Internal or External).

Enter their NECO Examination Number.

Input a valid Result Checking Token, obtainable from the NECO portal or accredited vendors.

Click “Check Result” to view, download, and print their results.
NECO advised students and parents to purchase tokens only from official channels, warning against the use of unauthorised vendors.
The release of the 2025 SSCE results marks another milestone for the examination body as it continues efforts to enhance transparency and ease of access for candidates across the country.
