Asagba of Asaba Attends Delta Monarchs’ Council Meeting

The Asagba of Asaba, HRM Prof. Epiphany Chigbogu Azinge (SAN, OON), yesterday Tuesday 16 September 2025, joined other traditional rulers at the Delta State Traditional Rulers Council meeting, held to strengthen unity and promote the preservation of cultural heritage across the state.
The gathering brought together royal fathers from various kingdoms, serving as a platform to deliberate on issues of peace, development, and the continuity of traditional values. His Majesty was warmly received on arrival and seen exchanging pleasantries with fellow monarchs, a gesture that reflected mutual respect and camaraderie among the custodians of tradition.
The Asagba’s participation underscored his longstanding commitment to the progress of Asaba and Delta State at large, as well as his influential role as a unifying voice in the council. His presence also reaffirmed the central place of the Asaba throne in promoting collaboration among traditional rulers for the collective advancement of their people.
The meeting, which has become a vital institution for reinforcing cultural leadership, once again highlighted the importance of the monarchy in supporting governance, fostering unity, and safeguarding the traditions of Delta State.
