Airstrikes Kill 20 Terrorists In Sambisa Forest

THE Air Component of Operation Hadin Kai has killed more than 20 terrorists and destroyed a key meeting point in the Bula Madibale area of Sambisa Forest, Borno State.
Military sources said the September 15 airstrike followed intelligence from the Watchkeeper platform, which revealed a terrorist gathering in the area.
On arrival, aircrews spotted footpaths leading to enclaves and a flag hoisted near a meeting point. The aircraft engaged the target, killing over 20 fighters and dispersing others. The strike also destroyed the meeting site and the insurgents’ flag.
