POPULAR Kannywood actress Rahma Sadau tied the nuptial knot with her spouse, Ibrahim Garba, in a private wedding ceremony held in Kaduna on Saturday.
Videos circulating on social media showed that the event took place in the morning at Atiku Auwal Mosque, Ungwan Rimi, with family members and a few close friends in attendance.
Sadau opted for a low-key celebration to keep the occasion intimate and away from public attention.
Shortly after the news broke on social media, the actress confirmed the marriage to BBC Hausa.
LEADERSHIP reports that Rahma Sadau, one of the most prominent figures in the Hausa film industry, popularly known as Kannywood, has built a thriving career spanning both local productions and Nollywood films.
The news of her wedding has since been greeted with outpouring of congratulatory messages from fans and colleagues.
