Oborevwori Celebrates Asagba Of Asaba On Second Coronation Anniversary

DELTA State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has congratulated the Asagba of Asaba, His Royal Majesty, Asagba Prof. Epiphany Chigbogu Azinge, SAN, OON, on his second coronation anniversary.
In a congratulatory message issued on Monday by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, the governor described the anniversary as an important occasion to celebrate the monarch’s contributions to peace, unity and development in Asaba Kingdom.
Oborevwori joined the people of Asaba, the Asagba-in-Council, traditional rulers, government officials, corporate organisations, friends and well-wishers in marking the milestone.
According to the governor, Azinge’s two years on the throne have provided an opportunity to recognise his leadership and service to the kingdom.
The governor also highlighted the monarch’s professional background as a distinguished Professor of Law, jurist and administrator.
He said that experience had brought valuable knowledge and perspective to the leadership of Asaba Kingdom.
Meanwhile, Oborevwori noted that the Asagba’s reign had continued to inspire hope, progress and a renewed sense of pride among the people.
He consequently prayed for continued wisdom, good health and strength for the monarch.
The governor also expressed hope that the Asagba would sustain his service to Asaba Kingdom while contributing to peace and development across Delta State.
