THE Flamingos will open their 2026 WAFU B U-17 Girls Championship campaign with a high-profile encounter against Ghana on 16 September.
The Group B fixture is scheduled for the CKB Stadium in Côte d’Ivoire, where Nigeria will begin its pursuit of regional honours and continental qualification.
The championship kicks off on 15 September.
A Familiar West African Rivalry
Nigeria and Ghana will renew a familiar rivalry when they meet in the opening round.
