THE Oghara Kingdom in Delta State is celebrating a major academic achievement following the emergence of Princess Ziregbe Eshemitan as the Overall Best Graduating Student in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Calabar (UNICAL).
The young medical graduate, who is the daughter of the Ovie of Oghara Kingdom, His Royal Majesty Noble Oyibo Eshemitan, distinguished herself among her peers by attaining the highest academic performance in the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) programme.
Her achievement was formally announced during UNICAL’s 56th Physicians Oath-Taking Ceremony, held at the Godswill Akpabio International Conference Centre, where newly qualified medical and dental graduates were inducted into the medical profession.
