Tinubu Congratulates Akwa Ibom Governor
PRESIDENT Bola Tinubu has congratulated Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Bassey Eno, on the occasion of his birthday, describing him as a committed leader focused on the welfare of the people.
In a statement issued by the Presidency, Tinubu joined the governor’s family, associates and residents of Akwa Ibom State in celebrating the milestone.
The President said Governor Eno had demonstrated dedication to inclusive governance and people-oriented leadership since assuming office.
Praise for Unity and Security Efforts
Tinubu commended the governor for promoting unity, peace and security in Akwa Ibom State, noting that social harmony remains essential for development.
According to the President, Governor Eno has shown the capacity to bridge divides, encourage cooperation and rally citizens around common developmental goals.
He added that progress in any society is strengthened when leaders prioritise cohesion and collective purpose.
Recognition of Social Intervention Programmes
The President also praised the Akwa Ibom governor’s welfare initiatives, especially programmes targeted at vulnerable residents.
He highlighted the provision of furnished, solar-powered homes for indigent citizens, as well as food support distributed to thousands of households across the state.
Tinubu said such interventions reflect a practical commitment to improving living conditions for the less privileged.

The President thanked Governor Eno for his support and wished him continued good health and strength.
He expressed hope that the governor would continue contributing to the advancement of Akwa Ibom State and national development.
