Clerics Highlight Oborevwori’s Leadership Achievements
DELTA State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has been commended by the Urhobo Christian Ministers Association International for his leadership, particularly his emphasis on peace, inclusive governance, and infrastructure development across the state.
The commendation was delivered on Wednesday by Archbishop Solomon Gbakara, President of the association and General Overseer of God’s Will Mission Inc., during a courtesy visit to Government House, Asaba, to offer prayers for the Governor.
Peaceful Coexistence Across Delta
Archbishop Gbakara praised Oborevwori for creating an environment of stability and peaceful coexistence across Delta State. He highlighted the absence of conflicts among the executive, legislative, and other government arms since the Governor assumed office, attributing this stability to Oborevwori’s intelligence, prudence, and inclusive leadership style.
Visible Infrastructure Development
The cleric further applauded the Governor for his administration’s extensive infrastructure drive, citing projects including roads, schools, and flyovers. He described the spread of these projects as evidence of a commitment to balanced and equitable development across Delta State’s communities.
Collaboration with the Federal Government
Archbishop Gbakara also underscored the positive impact of Governor Oborevwori’s working relationship with the Federal Government, particularly President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. According to him, the cooperation has helped sustain peace and facilitate development initiatives in the state.

Assuring the Governor of the association’s ongoing prayers and support, Archbishop Gbakara expressed confidence in Oborevwori’s ability to maintain the momentum of progress. He encouraged the Governor to remain focused on seizing opportunities for further development.
