THE Confederation of African Football has taken another major step towards AFCON 2025 with the official opening of the tournament’s Main Media Center in Rabat. Situated at the Moulay Abdellah Sports Complex, the facility will coordinate media coverage for Africa’s biggest football event, serving thousands of journalists from across the continent and beyond.
CAF said the centre is designed to support up to 2,000 media professionals, featuring fast internet services, modern work areas and robust broadcast infrastructure. The development underscores Morocco’s preparations to host a globally competitive tournament, with CAF officials noting that the MMC enhances operational efficiency and strengthens AFCON’s international media footprint.
