2027: Delta Central APC Stakeholders Reaffirm Loyalty To Tinubu, Oborevwori …Emphasise Unity, Discipline, And Electoral Victory
STAKEHOLDERS of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta Central Senatorial District, on Sunday, held a strategic political meeting at the Petroleum Training Institute (PTI), Effurun, where they unanimously pledged unwavering loyalty to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori.
The gathering, which drew party leaders, senior government officials, grassroots mobilisers, and other key stakeholders, focused on strengthening internal cohesion ahead of the 2027 general elections. Discussions centred on organisational rebuilding, collaboration across structures, and positioning the party for what participants described as a defining political contest.
Moving the motion of solidarity—seconded by Chief Andrew Oru—the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Olorogun Festus Keyamo, SAN, praised President Tinubu for significant improvements in national security and economic stability.
According to Keyamo, Nigeria is beginning to witness “clear signs of improved security,” crediting the progress to the President’s renewed resolve to tackle insecurity. He also applauded Governor Oborevwori for the ongoing infrastructural transformation across Delta State, describing the governor’s achievements as “unequalled.”
Keyamo urged party members to remain disciplined as APC congresses draw near, warning aspirants that no candidate would secure the party’s ticket “from Abuja” without grassroots endorsement. He stressed that loyalty, internal alignment, and respect for party structures were critical for electoral success.
State APC Chairman, Elder Omeni Sobotie, highlighted the party’s strategic realignment from the PDP to the APC, emphasising the importance of genuine grassroots engagement. He urged the party faithful to remain united and resilient, expressing confidence in a landslide victory in 2027.
Similarly, Delta Central APC Chairman, Chief Paulinus Akpeki, cautioned against factional loyalties and described Delta Central as the “political engine room” of the party. He insisted that the APC in the state has only one recognised leader—Governor Oborevwori—and warned that “any loyalty outside this structure is unacceptable.”
Akpeki announced several reforms, including mandatory monthly senatorial meetings across the eight LGAs and the creation of a Delta Central APC Caucus Committee responsible for strategic planning, mobilisation, conflict resolution, and performance monitoring.
“Our mission is too important and the stakes too high for indiscipline or division. Delta Central APC must operate as one family with one structure, one leadership, and one objective: victory in 2027,” he said.
In their contributions, Senator Ede Dafinone; Hon. Ejiro Waive; NEXIM Bank Executive Director, Stella Okotete; Chief Solomon Igrakpata; and Chief Andrew Oru echoed the call for unity and discipline.
Local Government APC Chairmen also reaffirmed their commitment to delivering maximum votes for President Tinubu, Governor Oborevwori, and all APC candidates in the 2027 elections.
Stakeholders concluded the meeting with a renewed resolve to reposition Delta Central APC as a disciplined, united, and formidable political force capable of delivering sweeping victories in 2027.
