17 Directors Fail Permanent Secretary Exam
By MELVIN KOFFA
SEVENTEEN directors have failed the Federal Government’s first-tier written exam for Permanent Secretary positions, leaving 53 out of 70 candidates to advance.
The Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (OHCSF) said the process underscores its commitment to merit, transparency, and reform in selecting top civil service leaders.
The next stage, an ICT proficiency test, will assess candidates’ digital skills. Head of Service Didi Esther Walson-Jack stressed that only individuals with proven competence and integrity will emerge as permanent secretaries.
